AMD no longer cheaper

AMD XP2800 397$, XP2700 349$, XP2600 297$, XP2400 193$.
P4 3,06Ghz 480$, 2,8Ghz 398$, 2,66Ghz 227$ 2,40Ghz 189$.


Just found this on THG.

Looks like my next system will be a P4 if this is true
i want a small and quiet computer and the XP doesn't work in that enviroment unless you have some serious cooling
and then it wont be quiet.

Uhuh. And the P4 2.8 is still $480 (lowest on pricewatch)

I dunno where you get your prices but they are way off.. and who is TGH??

CPU prices

Personally I would still go with Intel due to the fact that AMD 2400 and up are not even being sold as single units yet (at least I don't see them at Newegg)

I think they do.

Those prices are likely Manufacturers Sugested Retail Prices which vendors that most of us buy from will sell at.
