What is the default (not overclocked) core voltage for a Celeron slot 1 533mhz processor?
Thnx

Wasn't the last Slot 1 basd celly a 400Mhz part??
I think that the 533Mhz yer talking about is actually a socket 370 on a slotket adapter, or am I missing something?? |

Edit;
There are several 533's->>
I think most likely the 1st one listed would be the only one stuck on a slocket,, Someone who knows Celerys please chime in..
The spec chart did NOT specify slot 1 or Socket 370
Cel-533 PGA
(Mendocino) 2.0V
(1.93V~2.1V
Cel-533A PGA
(Coppermine-128)
(6-8-3 step) 1.5V
Cel-533A PGA
(Coppermine-128)
(6-8-6 step) 1.7V

I didn't think you could get a Celeron past a 433 in the Slot 1 packaging format. AFAIK 466's and onwards were all socket 370 until the Tuatlin (sp). I'm no expert though - this is just the assumption I was under.. |

Sorry guys. It's a regular socketed Celeron on an adapter for a slot 1 board (BH-6)
Bios shows 533mhz (66), default core volts 1.5
Reason I asked was to help understand why it takes 3 1/2 minutes to load up Windows and the startup stuff. It's a 40gb 7200 WD Fat 32. Partioned 20/20, C/D.
Do have a lot of stuff in the startup folder. So much that can't run defrag. Going to take some of it off and defrag....see if that helps.
Maybe take off and leave off ???

Boot to SAFE mode and Defrag, dump the temp internet files first. |
