Well, I was drooling and saying the dude is a very, extremley good person to be friends with till I saw the TNT2 M64!!!! Ouch. I guess you don't game LOL
Well while that would have me digging out my eyes with very blunt objects I can understand as your probably more into programing or something. What is it going to be used for! Seems like and offully fast CPU for programing HTML!
Nice specs though! |

Not a gamer, so I don't need a bitchin' video card. Do abit of mutimedia stuff ... sound & image editing and a bit of programming in Linux. Also, a bit of CAD work. |

cool, well even if it doesn't get 20billion FPS in Quake3 I guess it's ok...LOL Your system rocks man
That is one sweet CPU powering your rig though!
Hey, in XP Pro take a look at this for some tweaks to use that mem more aggresivly. It might help speed up some of your progs! |

Cool, I just did the same, l_g, 'cepting I went from a D900 to a 2100+. I've got a V7+ and my load temp is 52C. I wonder if I wasted money there... I've also got 4 80s in my case, but I've got a HUGE case so maybe it's just not pulling the air through as well.
I certainly wasn't disappointed with the upgrade! |

Whir...Might be too much or too little thermal paste.
Temps should be more like in the mid 40's
