OK dude: people here will explain this one for you but first some warnings.
This is dangerous and can ruin your computer. IT is not suggested unless your very good with computers and are very patiant.
BTW: what do you mean over clock hard disk. You dont over clock hard disks....

What model ECS board?
How much and what brand RAM?
What kind of "2GHz fan"? (i think you mean it's for upto 2GHz . . . i hope anyway) If it's just an OEM, then you probably won't do much OC'ing.
You'll be able to increase the FSB (front side bus). You can do this by raising it in the BIOS usually.
Give us some more info, dude. |

Here is an introductory article to OC'ing that wont get you in too much trouble- http://www.overclockers.com/tips120/index06.asp .
If you scroll down through the threads in this forumTopic, you will find a good bit of information already. If ya dont understand things, ask about them before you just jump in!

I didn't think those boards were good at OC'ing with.
The easiest way is to up the FSB, or unlock your cpu and up the multiplier.

Hi phil_monk,
As said above by tbc, overclocking is a dangerous thing and can void your warranty on your computer.
You cant OC your hard drive. You can OC your processor in certain cases. Intel frowns on this because they usually have to make good on any claims on their processors unless they can prove that it was OC'd.
