Just picked up this gizmo from our local computer store. It's called a Badong and you can read about it on the following link. Badong
I can't wait to see if it will lower the CPU temp by drawing air in from outside of the case.

hmm... i dont read korean or what ever language it is, but the pictures look kool. i bet you could make your own w/ some air ducting. i wonder how good it works?

If you have a high power intake fan, then I'm sure it'd work, but let's not be so skeptical until we see real numbers from Speedo, when he gets the chance. Everyone knows that numbers from the manufacturer always favor their side.. |

Basically, it's one of those heating ducts that you see for your dryer, and then it'd hook up to the back of your case fan that'd normally exhuast, but now intakes cooler air from outside, and blows onto the CPU and then the air from that gets sucked out by the P/S and then there's this funnel that aims upwards so the hot air doesn't get sucked back in by the intake, and the cycle repeats. |
