| O/C'ing software program?
Hello, all...
I was wondering what the best software o/c'ing prog is. It would be nice if it soulc o/c the FSB as well as the Multuplier. Don't know if that's possible from software...
Also, what's a good prog to o/c a TNT2 Riva M64. I have a o/c prog for my GF3 Ti200, came with my Gainward card, but was wondering if there was a prog for TNT2. I've heard people mention something about a RivaTuner? Just wanting to hear your thoughts.
Thanks! |

Try Powerstrip for your TNT2 http://www.entechtaiwan.com/ps.htm
(I think the newer Detonator Drivers enable Overclocking by default, if you have an older Nvidia driver you could change the CoolBits setting in the registry to enable overclocking via your graphic driver)
For overclocking your CPU, there isn't really a program to overclock it since it is really based on the motherboard. It's pretty simple to overclock anyway, just refer to your MB manual it should tell you how to change the jumper settings
Sometimes, you get software to overclock your CPU from the MB package, but this only works for the MB the software came with! To overclock using the multipler.. you need to unlock the multipler depending on the CPU you got.. hope that helps! |

Hey, 5atanic...
Yeah, I've overclocked CPUs plenty but was just wondering if there was a program that o/c'ed through software. I had seen a shareware program once, that could cange the FSB inside of windows. I'll have to see if I can find it again...
I'll try powerstrip and let you know what I think of it...
I'm gonna be gone until the 26th so if you have any other ideas let, just post and I'll get back with you ASAP... |

I've tried softFSB but I don't think it supports the ECS K7S5A mainboard. |
