K6-2 350MHz Socket 7 CPU w/3DNow! Technology [100Mhz]
$18.00

I remember these doing a easy 504mhz @ 112FSB and really working Windows98 fast.
Anyone really get one of these older K6's up in the FSB ?

might be cheapo upgrade for an old HP/Compaq/E-Machine/IBM etc


Bumping the FSB on these older machines really peps them up.
[Keep the PCI speed below 35mhz]

Here's a new 500mhz K6-2 for $26

Doc,

500 MHz is possible on these, but they are really not highly coveted. The best K6 series were the "+" series either K6-2+ or K6-3+.

Yup, I'm in with that too.

Got a pair of K6-3+
One still in the box, never revved the running unit beyone 112 at Stock jumper [4.5]

Lots of trades I get in have the AMD's ,, usually with a smoked CPU fan or PS fan.

Cheap upgrade
