OK.... sooo...
1) Addressing my post for somebody with a "normal" IQ wouldn't be a problem , as it's only THREE paragraphs long - but it does require a small amount of cerebral activity to make SENSE of it.... which obviously not every one of us here is required to house an IQ of over 45 points.
2)NOTHING was addressed about Intel having to revise a part 4 times to get a CPU that could actually COMPETE with AMD's counterpart.
3) AMD has learned that 'sending junk' and trying to sort it out later isn't in ANYBODY'S best interest.... Intel , well.... I can't say they have learned much. (no comment?)
4)FPU performance doesn't matter?? Right -- Right.... a PC is nothing more than a high performance calculator , and saying FPU performance doesn't matter ~ is a LOT like saying that it doesn't matter that an eight cylinder engine only running on 6 cylnders works just as good and there is NO problem.
5) Saying that O/C'ing the FSB doesn't matter is another good way to show what you know. I probably BUILT and REPAIRED more PCs last month than "some people" have ever 'played' with in their entire short 15 years on this earth.... hehehehe ....
Can someone tell me that utilities & APPs like : MemTest86 , SiSoft Sandra 2003 & 2004 , 3DMark2001 & 2003 , HD Tach261 , BelArc Advisor , Adaptec EZ SCSI , NerO DriveSpeed , Codecreatures Benchmark Pro , RadClocker , RadTools , TweakUI , WCPUID V3.10 , Windows Media Encoder 9 , Ulead Media Studio Pro , Matchware Mediator , Pinnacle Studio , Ulead DVD MovieFactory can ALL show me improvements in the benchmarks or rendering times when I up my Bus Clock , but I am still WRONG?? Because 'they' said so??
I hack NC code for a living (On an Intel CPU btw...) & do these boxes as a sideline/part time job. Essentially I use PCs for 10 to 12 hrs./day ~ but I'm a n00b... hehehe
