Yes , water cooling has come of age now. You can find great easy to set up kits on the market now. If given a chance I will also use water cooling. Its better than air cooling and ooooh sooo quiet.

Ive got a XP 2200+ with a Volcano 9 and mine never goes over 44 C, however I have 2, 90mm case fans which probably help quite a bit. |

If you don't mind the noise and don't want water in your system, go with the Alpha PAL8045 with a Tornado 84.1 cfm 80mm fan. I was getting better results with this setup than my friend was with water cooling on the same system. However, if you sleep in the same town as this system, you might not want the 55 dB noise.

Here it is:
Thermalright SLK-800 solid copper
My 1800 is clocked at 1.84 and it stays under 97F under a full load. Also, it supports an 80mm fan.
Read reviews here: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...tby=14&order=1
One more thing, When you buy a new heatsink, make sure you scrape off that crap that comes on it and use some thermal grease. That should help dissipate the heat better.

That is a top rated HS, I started with the SK-6 back when thats all they made and nobody even had reveiwed it.
No regrets, great HS.
Thermalright has made a name for itself.
Here is a link to a little better pricing. http://www.svcompucycle.com/soca4cool.html

Yeah, I had an sk-6 hs too before i bought the slk-800 and it was great but the slk-800 is even better!
Hey wood, do you know you can get an 80mm fan on that sk-6 if you turn it diagnal? That's something cool i saw on anandtech one day, and it works. Stays cooler and beats the hell outta a Delta whine.
Thanks for the price info. I always use newegg, even if i have to pay a little more cause they are extremely reliable and I know from experience that they will stand behind their product if something goes wrong.
