Hey i'm building this new system to replace my old grandma (gotta love those 466 Celeron's) and have run into a "money" issue. TCWO.com and many other places sell XP 2100+'s at around $90. Go up to the Thoroughbred A core-powered 2200+ and you find yourself out of $150. How much faster would the 2200+ be, and mostly, is it worth the money when you have no job? |

Not worth the extra money. buy the 2100 and just clock it a little faster to get 2200 speed.

ha, your not gonna notice a thing, nothing. Dont waste the extra money on it. I got a 2100 xp+, and it kicks @ss. use that extra 60 bucks to get another fan, or save it for food if you dont have a job |

thanks, guys. I'm building my rig on a tight budget (as in Ti 4200 budget), so I was looking for some second opinions. |

Hey, Ti4200s are nothing to snear at either. I've got a 2100+ and a Ti4200 and I haven't thrown a game at the computer yet that it won't play. |
