Question on EasyTune

Has anyone used Gigabyte's EasyTune (Windows overclock program)? Is it any good? Is there any problem or downside? It sounds great to be able to overclock on the fly while you monitor and fine tune your system. It makes me wonder (if it's true) why hasn't every MB manufacturer come up with their own version of it.

my msi board has it own windows over clocking utility easy tune is good but it isnt as good as "hard settings"

i presume that overclocking with easytune would be like overclocking your video card with coolbits, in that windows would load and then the overclocking settings would load from the windows startup?
