XP1700 Heads Up

Just received my Athlon XP1700 from Newegg.
There advertising the DLT3C which is the Tbred ver A core.
The sent me the DUT3C ver B core which BTW is unlocked on the L1 bridge.
My only complaint is there barcode sticker placement, right on top of the bridges.

Well, I've just got one of these as well.

I'll scribble in the voltage bridges and overclock it on my new K7S5A. (Unfortunatley, couldn't afford a better board)

Last time I checked the old pencil trick doesn't work anymore on the new AMD packaging like it did on the old ceramic/stone packaging the TBirds came in.

RK is correct, you need to fill the laser burn with putty or whatever there using.
With thes being unlocked I'm not going to bother upping the voltage. The multiplier and FSB should go pretty high as the Ver. B Tbred is supposed to O/C to higher settings.
