Sheesh, won't a coolermaster be good enough? Heck it's for a non-overclocked business computer! |

i personally like the vantec fan. combine that with some arctic silver ii thermal compound, and you'll be keeping that 900 nice and chilled
the only downside is that that sucker is LOUD, but i'd rather have a loud case over a fried chip. |

C'mon, just what you want is a loud workstation!!! LOL
Boss comes in, what is that sound? Finally finds the source, hey butcher, Something dying in there???
WHY DO YOU WANT A HIGH PERFORMANCE HSF IN A BUSINESS COMPUTER????? You are IGNORING the fact that IT IS A BUSINESS COMPUTER!

I don't mind if you put a Thermaltake Volcano 6Cu Regular on a Duron Machine (Duron is basically Athlon with less In-Chip Cache and consuming less power and generating less heat), but it would matter to me if you put a Cooler Master Fan on a Duron Machine because IMO even with a Duron Au Naturel (No Overclock), chances are that you are better off with a *profitable* Heatsink, and you shouldn't be trusting your life to anything but a *profitable* heatsink.
To conclude, the Thermaltake Volcano 6Cu Regular actually produces less noise than the Thermaltake Volcano 6Cu+ that I'm using right now, but the Thermaltake Volcano 6Cu Regular is your best bet on a Duron Machine. Reason why I would recommend a Thermaltake Volcano 6Cu+ is because it's quieter than any Delta-Powered Heatsink and it also performs just as well as any Delta-Powered Heatsink. You definitely want the most out of your Duron and the Duron Chip itself can be an expensive item (even though it costs less than an Athlon Chip). You definitely need to be careful when mounting the Heatsink on top of the Spitfire Chip (Duron 900MHz) because it's easy to break the Duron's die (If you had to ask, I was able to mount and unmount the Thermaltake Volcano 6Cu+ successfully without breaking/cracking the Revision G Palomino Chip's die, despite the rather austere clip, requiring me to use a Screwdriver to remove/tighten the Clip) if you incorrectly mount the Heatsink Fan.
So grab yourself a right amount of "Generic" Silicone Thermal Heatsink Goop, a *Minimum* Thermaltake Volcano 6Cu Regular (for the best possible results), and be careful when mounting the Heatsink on top of the Duron, and you're ready to go!!!! Of course, you can try the Thermaltake Volcano 6Cu+ to better cool the Duron, but the 6Cu+ is just a bit louder than the 6Cu Regular. |

If you want cheap,. the Coolermaster 6I11 costs like $9. It does my 1 ghz Duron O/C'd to 1.2 just fine, it cools good.
