Slot 1/socket 370 adapter card inside Pentium II case?

W/a Slot 1, Pentium II 350, is that actually a slot 1/socket 370 adapter card inside the case? If so, could I take it apart and use that card for my new socket 370 Celeron 1 MHz?

No, thats not a slotket adapter that your Pentium II 350 is on....its an entire unit with the CPU core permanently attached to the PCB.

You're going to have to get a slotket adapter if you want to use your Celeron in a slot 1 motherboard.

I'm not sure I follow your question.

Are you asking if your PII 350 is mounted to an adaptor, allowing it to be installed in a Slot I board?

Thanks -- when looking "inside" the Pent II's case, it looks very similar to a Celeron-like processor stuck on a slot 1/socket 370 adapter. Ya, I got the adapter coming, just getting impatient....

BFlurie, I ordered one a couple weeks ago from buy.com and it came in two days. That was paying for the cheapest shipping they had. (Now I'm just waiting for the Celery 700 from Compgeeks.)
