| Processor Stress Test
Hi folks,
I'm troubleshooting a computer problem for a friend, and I was looking for some sort of program to run the processor at full-tilt for a while. Preferably, Windows based, so I can monitor temperatures and such while doing so.
Any program recommendations? Thanks!

Actually even better is Sandra 2003! At the bottom of the sandra window when you install it you can set it to do a burn in test. just set it to loop a few tests. 3dMark 2001se can do this as well. |

SiSoft Sandra has a built-in Burn wizard that works well and it usually gives a pretty comprehensive report. However, I think a better program for your purposes is here: http://users.bigpond.net.au/cpuburn/
This program monitors temps and stuff for you, and it's simpler than Sandra (burn in is all this program does).
Try it! Hope this helps!
~edit: blast! you have foiled me again Bob! Why must I type so sloooow!
