After taking my system into a local shop, the guy said my CPU was bad, so I bought a new one. Now however, when I boot up the BIOS reports by Athlon XP 1700+ as "Unknown CPU type 1447 Mhz" and I can get into Windows for about a minute and I get a BSOD and it restarts..hmmm the stop error code always changes, but it always has this one included into the many errors it gives (0x00000000). Also when I boot up into Windows (XP pro) it acts like I have no drivers for any device at all. As I boot up all these popups come up for finding a driver for my cdrom, ethernet, video card, even my CPU (which it can't find one for). I have managed to get into Device Manager and it has exlamations next to the CPU and video card. Does anyone know what this could be?
