ahhhh very interesting. yeah i knew what SEC stood for, but didnt know that AMD made on SEC also. a friend had asked me which slot the SECs fit in...i said 1. my only experience was with Intel. he said "some dork told me A" and i said well i didnt know about that, let me ask the forum
Actually I think its single edge cartridge but who knows...lol.
I would be inder the general opinion that when you see sec mentioned that it is refering to intel...because for instance they had the same processors with secc and sepp packages (I cant remember the exact nomenclatures)..and since they had so many different packages they would have to specify which was which.....with AMD they only had one slotA type thing so I have never really heard sec or secc referred to when talking about AMD...with AMD its always just "SlotA".
