it says on mwave site that this HSF is rated up to 2600+. should i refrain from buying this if i'm gonna oc a 1700+ (because they go past the 2600+ mark) ???
should i go with the coolermaster aero 7 instead???

I dunno what you mean by over 2600+ mark.. 1700's Pal core cant go that high.. if you are using a tbred core.. then you might be able to get some out of it.. not much tho.

t-bred B core can be oced up to 2300-2400 Mhz mark

then you need the correct mobo and chipset in order to obtain that speed. | |

ok you got teh correct mobo.. i would recommend the Thermal Take Volcano 9 .. rated to go above 3000+ XP processors. | |

volcano 9? i look into it thanx. i had my heart set on the aeroflow cuz it preformed so damn well. oh well, i'm gonna see the reviews for the coolermaster aero too before i buy cuz they look really cool | |

yea.. i have the volcano 7 and they rated it up to 1800 at frys when it was suppoed to go to 2600.. it goes higher.. | |
