Question
Temp questions

I've been checking and so far haven't really got a good answer. Everyone seems to post temps but never as related to my question
My question is cpu/ box temps as related to room temps. My cpu{xp2000=pal} is cool enough right now normally running below 50c at full load but my room temps haven't been over 75f. I live in an area of california that gets up to 100+ during the summer and my room temps are likely to be 80+ Anyone in ares with hot weather have any thoughts

I'm running a thermalright cb6l with generic 3000rpm fan {was a led fan but didn't cool enough} thinking of going to volcano 7

my case is open -no sides on right now and I'm using a single case fan {will be adding at least 1 more}

Close the case... one fan in lower front... one fan out in rear. Clean the cables up real nice for smooth airflow. Enjoy, should be fine.

ok well this doesn't address my concerns I'm looking at it now I'm sitting in a room thats maybe 65f and I'm running cpu temps of 45c at constant 50% load when the room temps rise and the cpu load rises to 100% I get temps over 50c and thats when it becomes unstable.

Any thoughts

- Go with the Volcano. I'm asuming you have the heatsink that came with the system or in the retail Box. I just got one of those Radial Fin Heatsinks w/ the 120mm silent fan over it. It keeps my 2800+ Barton at 30c-35c.

- Get a full size tower w/3 80mm fans (antec or even antec clones) $99

- Water Cooling :-)
