Ram Timings Help !

Guys im new to this so I need some help !



I just ordered a AMD Barton 2500 +
A nice Nforce 2 motherboard and some OCS DDR 2700 RAM (matched pair for dual access) 512

My problem is that I dont get the bit where you set the timings on RAM

I understand where to set CAS on the bios but dont understand anything more than this IE 5-3-3-3 etc

Anyone point me in the right direction for a good guide, most that I read dont help just go over my head - anyone using this RAM know whats best to use ?

Thats a great guide. Thanks-and I know mem pretty good, I still learned a few things too.
Interesting test results. Most aggresive timings on mem is = to a least agresive timing with 10mhz fsb higher. Hmmm so my pc2700 that running at pc2100 max timings would be faster at pc 2700 relaxed timings. I will have to try that. Will post results in oclockers section.
