2200+ wannabe "Barton" well kinda

I just set my fsb to 166mhz, dropped the multi from 13.5-11 and set the mem to synch. Its pc2700. I had aggresive mem timings on it. BUT I found out 10mhz fsb increase on mem is = to most aggresive mem timings you can get. Hmmmm I thought. So I tested it out. Since my 2200+ tbred A is prebarton. Its .13 and the same minus the extra l2 cache. She's running great and the same exact temp though its like 26mhz oclocked-WoW hehe I know. But the point wasnt to oclock the cpu. Just test what mem settings are best. I think it worked. Pics are jpegs for 56k people like myself.
Heres the stock 133mhz fsb with aggresive timings.

Nice. Not really a barton though, you've just upped it to 333 fsb. If you had a barton running at that speed you would notice a big difference.

Actually if ya check the specs. HTe barton and tbred are identical chips except for the added l2 cache the same die and everything. Both .13 So alls Im missing is the extra l2. I know its not a barton but the 166mhz is nice. Hehe. Really I hear the l2 cache they added didnt help much. Compair a oclocked XP tbred at = mhz to barton and the dif isnt that big. Hardly noticable for games compiling and such. Lest thats what I hear.

Welp folks the verdict is- if you have mem capable of higher fsb than stock. And you cant get aggresive settings. No worries as more is gainded from a higher fsb anyhow contrairy to myth that is spred about by most. try it yourself if in doubt-you will be surprised.
