system vs cpu temp comparison
if my case is at 27 C and my cpu is at 60 C on average running 2 case fans in 2 out and a orb heatsink/fan, isnt that a bit too much of a difference, should i be concerned on how the heatsink is seated? its not even oced and it runs at 64 C on a full load!

If the "orb heatsink/fan" that you're talking about is a Thermaltake Chrome Orb or Super Orb, I would ditch it and go for something like a Volcano 7 or higher. I'm running a V7 on my 2100+ (at 2400+ speed) and under full load it's running 43ºC with a case temp of 28ºC.

though 60C isn't a disastrous temp for a cpu, it is not desirable either.
60C would be ok, just barely ok, mind you, for a cpu under full load - 100% utilization.
if that is your idle temp, then i would suggest that your heatsink is not suitable, not seated right and/or the thermal compound between your cpu and heatsink needs to be done over.
you didn't say what cpu you are using...
and what was running when you found that temp, is that at idle?Crunching to Crush Cancer!

Yeah, that's definitely enough difference to be concerned about. If you have a decent heatsink, and it's installed properly, your CPU temp should be just 10-20C more than your case temps. That's assuming it's not overclocked.

no sorry to be brief about everything, yes i know 60 isnt dangerous, but no sir i dont like it, its a athlon xp 1600+ right now teh vcore is at 1.7 maybe ill drop it to 1.6 or 1.5, its a dragon orb 3, there could quite possibly be a glitch in the bios to make it read higher because i cant imagine a dragon orb performing that bad, could have been a poor thermal compound but its really hard to mis-seat a dragon orb since it uses all 3 tabs
