| Are you looking for a great heatsink?
Hi ..
I just thout i share my success experience with OCing my AMD XP 1600+ (which runs at 1400MHz ) ..
Well, i was able to reach 150FSB @38C full load with WinGlobe WBK68 HS..
Today i got new heatsink and i was able to reach 153FSB ( 1606MHz total) @ 36C full load for hours, rock stable... is that cool or what ...
The new Heatsink is Taisol CGK with the copper bottom, and the good point is that i'm not using the Delta screamer fan .. i'm using a quite +/- 4300rpm fan that delivers 24.5CFM ...
If you are looking for great HS, you might consider this one ..

Here is a shot to spice things up
BTW, the fan specs stated that it is 4300 fan .. if you check the shot you will see it running at around 4800rpm .. but it still quite .. |

Hey man! Glad to hear you're getting decent results o/cing your 1600+ on the EPox board.
I just got my CPU and HSF today. I got a Thermaltake Volcano 6Cu for mine. It's also got a 4500RPM fan. It should be comparable to yours, I'd think.
How does your heatsink attatch? Does it just have clips, or does it screw into the mobo? Mine has clips, and I can already tell they're going to be very tight--I hope I don't damage the CPU.
Congrats with the results...it will be a fine ECCp cracking machine! |

Thanx Thud .. and Congrats on the CPU and board arrival ...
Your HeatSink is great also .. i read a lot about heatsinks and the Volcanowas an option but i didn't find it here ..
I liked Taisol's clip too much .. it was easy to attach, although very hard and firm using the three clips on each side of the CPU's socket, which made it so steady firm ... no screws...
I also thought, OMG, i will crack the core with this giant HS and its hard clip .. but it wint really smoot .. just be steady and gentle ...
Shadowhaxor, i bought it from local shop in Tokyo .. but it is available on the internet too ...
Here how it looks like http://www.ocshoot.com/taisol760.htm
You can find it online, but there are many HS that do better that it .. like all copper Thermalright SK6 ...
Biside this Taisol is HUGE, and might not fit in all boards .. i use Epox 8KHA+ ...
