Is TT Volcano 5 better than the XP retail HSF?

TT Volcano 5 is $5.99 at Fry's... Is this a better HSF than the retail XP HSF? It has AMD approval for upto XP1700+. I would like to give it a try if you folks feel its better than the stock HSF.

I would spend the $6.00... again, at $6.00, is there a problem with that HS? Hmm...

If you're really concerned, try the stock, and if it doesn't work to your satisfaction, invest the $6.00 you have along with 10-30 dollars more and purchase a very good HSF. You're trying to protect a pretty valuable component (CPU). I wouldn't skimp on that protection, ya know?

Also make sure you get rid of any thermal tape on that heatsink and put on some Artic Silver paste and follow their instructions... makes a big difference I've found.
