URGENT! Removing heatsink from CPU!

I've got a Pentium 133 here with a heatsink attached to it. The heatsink looks like it was attached with some sort of adhesive pad, but you can scrape the adhesive pad away, almost like the bottom of duct tape.

Problem is, I CANNOT remove this heatsink from the CPU! It's almost like they're permanently bonded.

Any info is appreciated!

The last time I saw something like that was a pentium 200. A friend of mine suggested trying to rotate it (after taking it out of the socket). turned out the thermal past had such a suction grip that that's what it took to loosen it. slid right off after it once moved

I ran into the same suction thing and did the rotation thing too, worked fine.

Thanks!

After a LOT of prying, that sucker finally came off. I have absolutely no idea what sort of mutant adhesive that was attached to it, but it's gone now. I bent a few pins the process, but realigned them, and it works A-OK.

EXPECT WATERCOOLING PICS SOON!
