1 has 2mb l2 cache that's why..

try reading cpu specs in future

though from what i was reading on tom's hardware look's like AMD has redesigned the 940 chipset, the new 940 design is going to replace the 939 chipset, not sure how many cpu's are going to be converted to the new spec, though the new 4800+ & 5000+ cpu chipsets will be on the new 940 platform...

current 940 mobo's will not support the new chips so an upgrade will most likle be needed..

an interesting point to note: these new cpu's will be the 1st to support ddr2 spec ram, so now we could start using the same ram the intel's have been using for the last 2-3 years...
