Thanks

I am just interested in the use or information on the pins. I found a German site with something on the socket 7 pins but don't read German.

I primary use the slot A CPU and would like to see the Socket A use as well. I can't under stand why a flip chip can run in a Slot 1 and a Duron can not run in a Slot A. I am sure if it were possible it would be so. Just nosy

All Durons are Socket A, and no one ever built an adapter to put them in a slot A board. I think it has something to do with the on chip cache setup, and how they changed it going from Slot A to Socket A.

Oh, well the duron could run on a slocket, they just don't make them. There are T-bird's that were soldered to a PCB for Slot A. T-birds first appeared in Slot A form. They're just hasn't been any demand for them.....so ur gonna try and wire a socket 462 PGA cpu to an athlon classic PCB....they run at different voltages, teh original athlon classics are 0.25um and run at a higher voltage.....I'll go look for the pins....I used to know a site with them.....havn't been in a while though.
