| well, i have heard the contrary with that cooler... i heard it isnt worth the money and is loud! i like the design and concept behind it though, just not enough good feedback to support, personally....
IMO get the top of the line zalman hsf ~40-50 bucks, its quiet, works well, and its huge so make sure itll fit on your mobo

Lower C°/W is better. Draw your own conclusions.

I've been reading reviews and stuff and the best setup seems to be a slk-900 or the new 947 which is supposedly more compatible with boards that have stuff near cpu socket and a 92mm fan with a good cfm rating |

Ok, So you want some feedback on the Aero 7+.
1. its huge.
2. it has a speed control, so it can be silent. (fan speed is adjustable from 3600 - 1800 )
3. it works real well.
4.the clip can be a pain in tight quarters due to the size of this monster.
How do I know? i just installed one on my computer.
my old heatsink is a Cooler Master HHC-001 with a 7500rpm fan. (can you say loud?) and the heat pipes. http://www.newegg.com/app/Showimage....103-130-07.JPG
I remember when i put it in I dropped the temps a degree or two and the Aero 7+ has dropped it a couple more.
cpu temp was 37c/98f now its 34c/93f
case temp was 31c/87f now its 33c/91f
As you can see the case temp went up, and thats with 120mm fans for the intake and exhaust.
at the present time I have it turned down to about 3000rpm and can't hear it over the other fans and it keeps the cpu at 35c. even on full throttle its not as loud as the 7500rpm fan I had.
