Sounds as if the CPU bus speed is set at 100 instead of 166.

The Barton 2500+ cpu default multiplier is 11.0. If the actual speed you are seeing is 1100mHz, then the bus speed has to be at 100mHz, rather than the 166mHz is should be at to yield 1834mHz (Barton 2500 default speed, the result of 11.0 x 166.67)

The "...(optimal-agressave)...." you are referring to is usually the terminology used regarding the ram timings, NOT the bus speed.

Ram timings are usually called terms like "normal," "fast," "fastest," and "turbo" (e.g., "turbo" sets all the ram timings to very fastest settings).

Unfortunately, I have two older EPoX mobos (8K3A+ and 8K5A2+ which are Via KT333 chipset and not nForce2), so I'm not real familar with your board.

You may have some luck talking to some of the EPoX folks at the following two forums (they have official EPoX tech representation):
    http://www.aoaforums.com/forum/forum...?s=&forumid=27
official rep at this forum: 'EPoX Tech'

    http://www.amdforums.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=9
official rep at this forum: 'EpoxUSA Tech'

Sorry I can't be of more help, best of luck.
