Alpha HSF quesiton

the new alpha heatsink, i think it's the PAL8045 or something like that...how's it perform with a sanyo denki fan attached to it? how about a 2.1watt sunon fan? i'm looking for a good solution at a somewhat low noise...i currently have a thermalright SK6 with a delta 60x60x38 7000rpm monster 60mm fan, running at 7 volts and roughly 4500-5500rpm(i forget exactly what speed) and it's quietenough, but that sanyo denki 80mm is really quiet and moves a LOT of air for the noise...what do you all think? I can get the alpha 8045 for $49.50 at my work plus tax. with the sanyo fan or 33.50 for the HS only at my employee price. anyway is it worth it over my current setup? how about the sanyo fan? is that worth it or should I just use my existing sunon fan?

FalcomPSX:

Consider tke SK6 with a Sunon (roughly 5000-5500 RPM). I installed this on my XP 1900+ and CPU runs at 31-33C.

I purchased mine for appx'ly $35 USD at www.kdcomputers.com

I was givena choice of 3 different fans with purchase. I like the Sunon as the ones I've used have been quiet.

Good luck.

Not sure about your specific fans your talking about but my PAL8045 with a 39CFM, 2900 RPM Sunon keeps my 1.4GHz T'Bird at 39C full load without too much noise.
