go into bios -> then go onto the tools and it should show you that the processor is 2660 mhz. Switch that to manual and the two menus below it will open up. you can oc the FSB multiplier and RAM frequency.
But you might have a dif BIOS

Retail cooling?
Whats your mem frequency?
Is it a 533 or 800 chip?
My 2.66/533 very easily does 3.44 with an Aeroflo... |

ummm.... i guess i should tell you guys that im on a laptop.
can it still be done?
its a zd7010us made by HP
P4 2.66GHz (2660MHz=2.66GHz...but i knew that already)
king?...can i get more info on the hardware w/o ripping the machine apart? other than whats in the "system information" window.
(oh....the RAM chip(s) runs at 333MHz if thats got anything to do with the processor)

wouldnt advise it. Laptop processor are moulded into the board and if u melt that ur screwed.

ummm... ok, if you guys say not to try... i wont.
know of any tricks i can employ to get better performance outta this thing? (playing with settings and what not).
ive already upgraded my RAM.(from 512MB to 2GB)so that doesnt need to be done.

Your bios most likely wont allow it anyways---
That thing should run fairly fine right out of the box---where do you feel you are having "performance issues"? |

it renders fine but the damn thing still takes FOREVER.
