OCing a AMD Athlon XP 1800+

Hey guys, what is going on?
I am getting the Thermalright SLK 700 with YS Tech TMD 36CFM Fan.

Currently my temperatures are
64Celcius Idle CPU
40Celcius Case.

If I can get my CPU temperature down to 40-45 celcius, how much can I OC my 1800+?

I want to get the speed up to an even 2ghz.

Also any advice on how to do this would be lovely lol.
Got a Gigabyte GA-7VRX ver. 1.1 if that helps any.

if it is a 1800 pally i doubt you will get 2gig . if it is a tbred you should have no problem but ya never know .

How do I find out if it's a pally? BTW, what is a pally? lol never heard of it

i think you can enter the stepping information on the chip into the uamd tool's stepping decoder and it will show what your cpu type is.

palimino core vs tbred... mine is a pally and between that, my cheap ram and cheap mobo, it cant oc worth poop.....

i think you can also use a program called cpuid and it will tell you what you have

I have another stick of 256 2700 samsung memory.
Same specs as the same above.
