there is the part about the 64 bit prescotts...the part about the socket t having it is just speculation but it isn't too far fetched anymore as the prescott does have the capabilities and most likley tejas will which will also use the socket tHey who turned sigs on?

No. True 64bit needs 64bit registers. If its emulated its a slow dog! It would be like Itanium in 32bit mode. LOL. THe larger dword size would be pointless if you had to emulate to use it. THe gain-would be no gain, but a loose. I dont Think AMD is gonna waiste their time and efforts on somthing so pointless. After all right now the A64 is only $211. Why bother with a 3200+ etc?R.I.P.
