amd athlon xp 2000 recomended temp
i was just wondering i have a vantec va4 cool in my system and have a 2000 xp and the temp usually runs about 43C but lately its ave is about 51 is this something to worry about or is 50 well within a safe range what do u recomend i keep it under to be considered safe to operate at all times ps i run setiathome all the time

85c is max temp so you are well within limits . check your heatsink it might be cloged up with dust if 42c was what you have been running at .

My xp2000 idles at ~48-49 degrees. (ambient is 29)
I think these things just run a bit on the warm side. No worries.
