How to lower temperatures?

My idol cpu temps are 33-38 and my load temps are 39-42 at 1.6v
I want to get these a little lower so I can increase my core voltage to overclock more. I have 3 input case fans and 2 output each pusing 30cfm. My psu also has two fans. I have the Thermaltake SMART & SILENT VOLCANO 9 heatsink and fan, which I run at 3600 rmp's because full boar is just to loud.
I was wondering are there any thing I could do to lower my cpu temps? New heatsink/fan?

Those temps are NOT that high. I would check the AMD website to see what the normal temps are supposed to be but my 900@1050runs at 58C and my 2500+@3200+ runs at 47C and both run Find-a-Drug non-stop. My temps are probably high but what the hey, the 900 has been doing that for 3 years? Maybe, maybe more, I got it in September of some year.....ummm

Do you have a fan blowing ducted air on the cpu? That will drop the temps faster than anything. If you have a case fan on the side panel blowing towards the cpu you can try putting a cheap homemade duct just to see if it is all you need. If it works then you might want to make a nice one out of some clear plastic tube and put a couple of leds on it to spice it up.

I would say turn up your CPU fan. Ignore the noise, you will get use to it. You should have some room to work with before you start turning your fan up. Your temps are pretty low as they are. My 2400 oc to 2.2ghz idles at 40 and is perfectly stable. You might be able to squeeze a little more without changing anything.

change the setting of your hs fan. just as f1oored suggested. get used to the noise.. raise the volume of your speakers
