| Bill in SD, CA, turns out that a lot of spyware installed on your machine brings in a flood of spam, much of it infected with viruses. Are you running SpyBot and/or AdAware? Those might help solve the problem. |

I run Spybot and AdAware daily.
Think my dad may have opened an attachment and now his address book has been compromised.
He said he opened 3 or 4 "undeliverable mail" messages.
Putting him onto Trend online right now.

Since 01-01-2004 to date........ I've recieved 11,961 pcs of spam........ much of it littered with trojans/virus's/ and other fun stuff.
I only ever see the people that are whitelisted anyway....... so not a big deal Amazing the amount that piles up though. |

The virus plague is coming from this site in some way. This is one of two places that have that email address and I've belonged to the other site for 3 years, so it's not coming from there. How do you unregister from this site and get email out of their register? |

If that was the case David32465 I think 160K other memebers would be complaining too. There are a billion ways for e-mail to be compromised. Most commonly is a friend who has your e-mail in their address book.
