Comcast Email Spam

Good Morning all,
Over the past couple of months i've noticed yhat i'm receiving alot of unsolicited email. The problem is 9 out of 10 emails are not even addressed to my account. I'm very carefull about my email accounts and never use them to sign up for free 'Ts' , magazines or whatever. After all, that's what Hotmail and the like are for.
I 'm really getting aggravated by this crap and Comcast seems to take little intrest in this problem.

I'm wondering if anyone else here that uses Comcast is experiencing the same problem?
Also, any suggestions for stopping this 'wrong address' email?

After reading through the product info on Spamfighter and Spamnet i'm leaning towards giving Spamnet a try.

I would still like to know why after having the same email addresses for 4 years i'm all of the sudden being hit with all this spam mail?

have you posted your email on any forums or anything of thta nature? ANYWHERE on the web? there are scripts that go out and snatch these exposed emails and just store them to be spammed at.
