networking and protecting formulas in Excel file

hi. i would like to ask and know because i don't know, let say, i have some very important formulas in an Excel file and don't want others to get them and want others to know the update of a data from that Excel format, and guess one way is through networking (if not, what other method?) how can this update be done while formulas from the mother file is protected?

Umm...you migth as well duplicate the excel file. You save one file that has the formula, into ur floppy disk whatever and the other file that you have duplicated it before, save it in the computer. Get it? Hope that helps
