WARNING: Fake Anti-Spyware, Pop-ups

There are a number of new pop-ups for Anti-spyware showing up on the web.
These sites are fake!
They will offer to remove spyware.
They do not remove spyware, they infact install it!

Stick with Ad-Aware or Spy-Bot.

Saw one the other day, seemed kinda fishy. So i stayed away. The popup was java, so even mozilla couldn't block it.

Saw one myself two days ago.

Then saw a small article in 'PCWorld' that mention this!

Cannot think of how many people will click on this pop-up!

Will look for the PCWorld link! !

What's a pop-up?

My Adshield must be working pretty good.

Maybe try registry mechanic? It's oriented more toward registry repair.
