Hi, how are you?
I am new here, and dont know much at all about computers.
We have the virus' :
PSW.Briss.C
PSW.Briss.H
And I just cant seem to get rid of it, none of the antivirus
removers actually remove it!
I have managed to find it in my file, but it wont actually
let me delete it, it says extract and copy, and nothing works
Please help.
Thanks so much |

check out my site at http://free.hostdepartment.com/s/sr71000 . get rid of any anti-virus you have and download spybot, ad-aware, and avg. One of those should get rid of those virii...then...to protect your computer in the future...use avg antivirus, spybot, ad-aware, spyware blaster, and sygate...that's what I use to protect all my computers (note: every single one of those has a free version...so you don't have to pay anything )
woah vass...what language is that site..german? the link on my page to avg will take you to it in english |

if both will boot windows, you can just do it over a network (if they are networked directly together...need a crossover cable) if one won't boot..i believe they use the same ribbon cable...so you can physically remove the harddrive from one and connect it to the other...i believe....i could be wrong though...so sorry if I am.
/edit...hey terry..i just realised...not to be an jerk or anything, just wanted to say...when ya have a random ? like that.....you can just start another post...go to the forums screan, click the topic it belongs in (networking, hardware...wherever it belongs, and then click new thread. If your question has to do with the topic we're talkin bout, cool..most people won't have a problem with it...but completely random stuff like that....just go for a new thread ....oh yea...now i gotta be the nice guy...lol Welcome to TIMO go ahead and start a new thread about connecting a laptop harddrive into a desktop (or vice versa) and if i catch it i'll stop in and say hi...lol. plus with your own thread and a title to suit your problem, your more likely to get a detailed and helpful answer . Open up a new thread and tell us exactly what your trying to do and we'll see if we can help ya out

Thanks for taking the time to update us,sorry none of this helped but the main thing I picked up from some of the site I posted was a complete format of the harddrive and new install. You had the bad luck of running into a vicious Trojan |
