Try using Firefox as your default browser. Most spyware is written to explot holes in internet explorer so Firefox is the best solution right now.

Alternatively, a not-so-good solution is to use the Pop-up blocker that comes with Windows Service pack 2.

I think that's an audio driver/program. It's safe.

Bit torrent is spyware free. The same goes for kazaa lite and Exeem if downloaded from the right source.
