Is there a better way to check that people are over 18? |

| Slightly unsettling but...
Effective.
They don't for ask for an expiration date or the CV code on the back of the card.
If game companies are to be pro-active and self-regulating to avoid governmental regulation control, how else could you accurately verify someone's age? The simplest ways would be credit card or driver's license verification. Of course you can be under 18 and have driver's license.
And you are SOL if you are over 18 and don't have a credit card... Though I bet a debit card would do.

Even asking for a credit card is not a good way of determining age, I have had a check card since I was15. And it works just like a credit card. |

I am so old I did not even get an ATM (No CC logo) until I was 18 anyways... |

That's just idiotic (tried it myself).
No way in heck I would ever use a credit card to verify my age. No way. |
