| Keylogger
Is there anyway that I can detect if a computer has a keylogger or not?
any programs out there that do that? |

basic anti-spyware programs can usually do it...also hijack this..you can find lots of programs on my site. I'd run hijack this and stick the log in the online analyzers and see what they say  if you have anything that is unknown in the log but looks bad or unfamiliar post it here and we'll letcha kno what to do with it  |

hijack this i think is one of the best for this job cus it detects every running program! i don't think keyloggers work if they're not running do they? |

the programs i mentioned will scan programs which are not currently running. hijack this is a good tool to use, but i think it is geared up mostly to detect currently running processes. |

wouldn't a keylogger if running also show up in task manger if
you know what to look for

Yeah - just run an AS/AV scan, and then CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. Valuable info could be stolen. |

Not all the time electric. Some, if not all, run in "stealth" mode so they are completely invisible.  |
