download spybot S&D and MS Antispyware.... run them in safe mode after you install them.... then once again in normal mode.... usually will grab 90% if not better. |

I have AdAware and spybot but I still get spam in my e-mail and both programs keep finding spyware. When I had SpywareBlaster on my old computer along with the other two, almost nothing got through. I just thought there might be something better/newer for prevention. Why run them in safe mode first? |

its totally crap | Why do you say that? It's actually a rather good program, especially if you use IE.
It wasn't created by Microsoft.
One of my computer buddies that runs a large PC repair business highly recommends Pest Patrol for prevention as it has a realtime scanner. Most spyware programs detect it after it's on your system. |

Use spywareblaster, spybot s&d, ad-aware and whatever others you can find. Usually one will find spyware that another has missed. |
