In regards to my thread http://www.techimo.com/forum/t151520.html
I got me another problem. I cleaned my system of the virus, but it attacked all my program setups(.exe files) that i've downloaded. they weren't on my primary hdd, but my secondary i have as a backup drive. 95% of the setups couldnt run, setup files corrupted. A few .exe files didnt get screwed like everest home, reshack, hijackthis, ect., ect......, which dont actually install. I had 50 programs that i downloaded, some not available anymore. is there anyway to fix these files or am i just sh*t out of luck and have to try to re-download everything.

First, turn off your system restore, then download, and install avast home, set it to run a boot scan, and then restart your computer(if it doesn't work for some reason, try it in safemode). Avast will then scan your computer before it gets into windows. Hope this helps. |
