| Need chat recording suggestions
A friend of mine asked for something that I can't seem to find on Google.
She wants a program to automatically record both sides of a webcam chat done in MSN Messenger 7.5. She said she's already got a keylogger installed for typed chat - no idea what it is. I'm assuming she's wanting to snoop on her husband since she said she didn't want a program showing up in their start menu or system tray. Normally I'd just say "sorry", but she seems pretty stressed already (I guess there's something going on she doesn't like).
In the Google searches I've done already, there are a lot of programs that will track web browsing, do key logging, etc., but I haven't seen anything that will covertly record webcam chat. Any ideas?

I think Trillian Pro can do that. It has an option in the history and log section to store chat, audio, and video. Granted he would noticed that the client changed...

Thx for the suggestion. Do you know if there is an option like that in MSN Messenger 7.5? I use AIM, so I'm at a loss...

There isnt any option in the real version of MSN or AIM to my knowledge. All the screen software that I use to capture things also isnt hidden, a user would know the screen is being recorded. I would also tell her to look into the legality of what she wants to do as well. | |
