Hi ppl
Been using AVG 7.0 email server edition, but every few minutes the scanner starts up saying:
Auto POP3: connecting to d221-86-250 commercial cgo cable.net
Anybody any idea what's going on with it? Is it scanning incoming email or is it something more sinister....as in scanning outbound messages?
Cheers
Steve.

the e-mail server edition is made to handle huge volumes of e-mails in and out.....like for someone who hosts e-mail accounts. you just want the personal edition, or may i even recommend the free edition lol. I'd actually highly recommend the free edition...scans with schedule, updates itself on schedule, scans e-mail.......why not? lol. |

Had the same problem, but with a different address. The address that keeps comming out is a random pc somewhere, not any kind of email that I have or update server. It was creeping me out, so I turned it off.

Does this tend to happen when you are using a filesharing program, or some other application trying to use port 110 (pop3)? |
