| Not sure if kerio is the issue
Hi,
I've just changed from zonealarm to kerio. And I realised that when I choose a link in my school's official website, what pops out is a browser without the top menu (File, Edit, View, Favourites, Tools, Help), address etc.
For the hyperlinks on the website, it is all fine. But there is this quick link on that website in the form of a drop-down menu. So when I scroll to, let's say webmail, a browser pops up, without the top menu.
I've tried it on mozilla, but it's the same situation. However, on another pc of mine, using zonealarm, I don't have this problem. The minimise/maximise button for that browser that popped-up is disabled. Do I need to change a setting in kerio perhaps? I tried adding the address link into kerio, to allow all cookies and pop-ups for that website. But still the same..
Can anyone help me? It's getting rather annoying coz I can't adjust the size of that browser at all.. |

If your privacy and school aren't an issue....send over the link. We can click on it and see if we have the same issues (I don't use Kerio). |

I do use Kerio (and recommend others do the same. I much prefer it over ZA or other firewalls.) But I can't imagine Kerio causing this kind of problem. Have you tried disabling Kerio and then trying the site? |

Yeah I tried disabling it. But it also didn't work. However, I didn't have this problem until I switched to kerio. Here's the link: http://www.ntu.edu.sg/publicportal/
When you get to the page, look at the top right hand corner. You'll see a drop-down box called "Quick Links". Choose webmail.
I never had this problem before.. *sigh* |

It seems to work fine for me. Shot0001.png is a screenshot of what I see. There is no "webmail" link in that dropdown box but there is one that says "email", and when I choose it it takes me to the screen you see in Shot0002. |

I've already gone to internet properties to clear cookies, temporary internet files, SSL cache, and even Autocomplete (forms). Still the same problem. Below are shots of how it should look like and what I am getting instead; probably would be clearer on what my problem looks like with these images. Hey thanks for helping me out. I decided to just switch back to zonealarm. Solved my problem. Though I still wish I knew how to overcome that problem. Any suggestions, I am still open to hearing though. Thanks again |
