Yah, i have a workstudy at the school technology dept, and i found out how to lockdown windows from the students using regedt. But i tried installing a no cd patch for bf1942 (bad idea to begin with) and now i get never ending popups. But if all else fails then its from a clean slate then. i ran hijack this and ran it in multpule scanners, adaware and spybot in safe mode and nav and ms antispyware in windows. got rid of everything and still no luck. ie pops up and firefox when browsing changes to a pop up.
