I'm back to Zone Alarm after a year with Seagate, the only reason I switched was the rumor that Zone Alarm was spyware.

Running Sygate, but looking for something new since Sygate is no longer being supported.

(begin rant) Thank you Symantec for buying a great firewall product and killing it, just to reduce competition on your POS firewall (end rant).

I'm content with my default WinXP firewall also, I always hear all this jazz about it sucking so much, but I was never hax0red.

This computer has been pr0ninated without avail. WinXP firewall for the win.

Agnitum puts a firewall called Outpost which is really good from what I understand.

Sygate is the best.

But when Vista comes around I might just use the one integrated in since it also monitors outgoing traffic.

I am with TigerRaptorFX on that, Agnitum Outpost is a pretty good firewall that uses little memory when minimized to tray with lots of features. I had found it pretty good, sygate has a few debug builds I've found that have been updated, but other than that, it's a shame a good product has gone to waste. Plus when vista comes around, it will be pretty much totally rendered useless for those who switch, that and it will never support IPv6 unless of coarse something were to be done with it.

Other than that, I still prefere blink end point intrusion and i'm just waiting on their 2.5 release of the product, which I guess is now known as Blink Unified Client Security.
It's only $20 more than outpost, but personally it was worth it to me.

The firewall is pretty great, and you can disable any layer of protection you wish with out interupting services or interfering with anything. Like the application layer, it all disables instantly. Which for those who dont like having the application firewall on would appreciate how simple it is. It has a pretty great IPS system built in and a security scanner to further find and close any security risks.

I like outpost tho since it's rule wizard is simple and is similar to blinks rules in reguards of how the rule policies are setup similarly.
